One of the most beautiful Classicist palaces in Slovakia was built in 1778 – 1781 as the residence of the Archbishop of Esztergom. The gallery includes the representative Hall of Mirrors and five salons furnished with period furniture named after the colour of the walls – green, brown, blue, red, and gold. The most valuable exhibit is a collection of six unique English tapestries from the 17th century depicting the ancient legend of the tragic love between Hero and Leander.
The palace will be closed on 28th and 30th May 2026.
