The Bratislava ZOO was founded in 1960 and is the only one in Slovakia that breeds rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and Sumatran orangutans. Here you will find the Farmyard with petting animals, playgrounds, a restaurant and a Zooshop. A popular part is the guided animal feedings, which take place at the weekends and daily during holidays. The zoo also has a safari bus, which allows you to comfortably reach more remote parts of the area.
